Does the thought of speaking in front of others make you anxious? Do you struggle to organise your ideas, find the right words or deliver your message with confidence?

Whether you have a presentation approaching or simply want to feel more comfortable speaking up, I can help.

Five sessions, tailored to you

This programme offers five one-hour, individual online coaching sessions, shaped around your needs and goals.

You might be preparing for a work presentation, leading meetings, delivering a speech at a special occasion or building confidence for everyday professional conversations.

Together, we can work on:

• Managing nerves and developing confidence.

• Giving your speech a clear, engaging structure.

• Using your voice with variety, clarity and authority.

• Making effective use of eye contact, posture and gesture.

• Connecting with your audience and handling questions.

If you have a particular speech or presentation coming up, we can use it throughout the programme, helping you develop and rehearse it.

Practical, supportive coaching

You will practise speaking from the first session, with constructive feedback and clear guidance. Short tasks between sessions will help you put what you learn into practice.

The aim is to help you communicate clearly, confidently and in a way that feels natural to you.

About Mike

I have taught speech, drama and public speaking for more than 40 years, working as a Head of Drama and an examiner for LAMDA, London College of Music and New Era. I am vice chair of the Society of Teachers of Speech and Drama.

I am the author of How to Nail Public Speaking and an actor and writer with Hidden Lives Theatre. My coaching draws on both teaching experience and the practical demands of performing in front of an audience.

Your investment

Introductory price: £195 for the complete five-session programme.

Book with confidence

The complete five-session programme costs £195. If, after your first session, you feel the coaching isn’t right for you, simply let me know before your second session. I’ll refund £156, retaining only the £39 cost of your first session.

Sessions take place individually online, usually once a week, at a mutually convenient time. You can join from home or work.

In-person coaching in Birmingham may also be available by arrangement. Please enquire about availability an pricing.
